Bulat surrounds her earthy, Jolie Holland-esque trill with marching-band dynamics to match fellow Canadian wonder-rockers like Arcade Fire and the New Pornographers. Quieter tunes such as "Little Waltz," meanwhile, possess an easygoing tenderness.
