Music Box Theatre says…

The boys from Sound Opinions might have a tough time bettering Rock 'n Roll High School's perfectly stupid-smart introduction ("I'm Riff Randell, and this is Rock 'n Roll High School!"). Tonight, the beloved CPR rock-talk show, along with Mary "Miss Togar" Woronov, presents the Ramones' classic get-some-kicks camp musical — a Roger Corman-produced ode to '50s rock insouciance, and a tweak of the nose to the juvenile-delinquent PSAs that tried, Togar-style, to stop it. We're not sure what's more memorable: the exploding mice, or the exploding school. Best of all, of course, are the Ramones themselves — truly "the hottest band this side of the Iron Curtain."
