More Flavor: City Gem City of Chicago Farmers' Market

In addition to the hot sticky days and fighting crowds at the Taste of Chicago, summertime means a barrage of fresh, beautiful produce. The Museum of Contemporary Art has hosted this open-air market for the last 11 years, and, every Tuesday through the end of October, local farmers sell fruits, vegetables, cut and potted flowers, cheeses, spices, baked goods, and loads of other treats that you can't find at the corner market. So build yourself a nice fruit salad, or grab some fresh mint for the most refreshing mojitos imaginable.
