Music: Rock/Pop Sloan w/ the Golden Dogs

If the readers of Chart magazine are to be believed, Sloan's Twice Removed is the greatest Canadian album ever made (Joni Mitchell and Neil Young's entire output notwithstanding). While that may be a bit of a reach, the veteran indie quartet's four songwriters have managed a fair share of catchy rock anthems over the course of their 15-year career. Bred in Toronto, fellow northern neighbors the Golden Dogs start off the night with caffeinated pop songs rife with howling vocals and virtuosic solos.
