Music Broadway in Chicago: Concert in the Park

In keeping with both the egalitarian spirit and sample-it-all ethos of the Taste of Chicago, the Broadway in Chicago theatre series presents a free concert showcasing its recent and upcoming musicals. Grab some soft-shell crab and deep-fried ice cream at the Taste and head over to the nearby Petrillo Music Shell for a contemporary show-tune showdown. Performers include the Chicago casts of Jersey Boys and Wicked, along with cast members from such 2008-09 shows as Legally Blonde, Dirty Dancing, A Chorus Line, and Grease.
