Tonight might be your only chance this summer to get a shot of testosterone delivered by two women, as NYC comics Joselyn Hughes and Brooke van Poppelen open their new show in Chicago before taking it back east. Macho dishes out sketch comedy with stand-up swagger, featuring bizarre characters that are likely to have you scratching your head right before you double over in laughter. Hughes and van Poppelen both served time in the Chicago comedy scene, with resumés that include everything from Chicago Underground Comedy and Spitfire to Second City. This is the first collective show for these two vets, and it's a tag-team match in which the audience is laughed into submission.
