Chicago History Museum says…

Chicago 360 v.3 is a 90-minute film combining five short documentaries about urban labor and working life. Produced by local nonprofit production company Split Pillow, the film introduces us to button manufacturers, parents, peanut vendors, and investigative journalists (within the context of Chicago Tribune job cuts). Split Pillow's documentary style follows the improvisational rule of "yes, and," which leads to an energetic eclecticism, where multiple filmmakers contribute to the same project. Chicago 360 v. 3 is the third release in a series of 360 films, the result of Split Pillow's decade-long research project chronicling contemporary life in the Windy City.
