Chicago never disappoints come festival season. Even the smaller satellite fests — like this week's three-day We (heart) Chicago — come stacked. Tonight opens with local chirpy Afrobeatniks Killer Whales and a DJ set by Mike Simonetti, founder of Troubleman Unlimited records and the neo-Italo-disco stable Italians Do It Better. Tomorrow night boasts LA remix duo Guns N Bombs (Klaxons, Chromeo) and art-poppers Abe Vigoda (bred, like Mika Miko and No Age, at LA's the Smell). Saturday closes things out with Chicago's own Girl Talk-ish mash-up alchemists, the Hood Internet. Get moving now if you want a crack at the limited $3 tix.
