Union Park says…

Indie kids: if you so desire, it is possible to cram a year's worth of show-going into one sweltering weekend. The Pitchfork Music Festival returns to Union Park with dozens of artists in tow. Revisiting last year's admittedly awesome gimmick, this weekend's fest welcomes Public Enemy, Sebadoh, and Mission of Burma performing, in their entireties, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, Bubble and Scrape, and Vs., respectively. Other best bets include Dinosaur Jr., Animal Collective, Boris, and Fuck Buttons — and if you prefer your music with clean(ish) bathrooms and zero sunshine, check out the fest-sanctioned aftershows taking place on stages around the city.
