As Chicago neighborhoods go, Wicker Park isn't exactly flying under the radar, so this annual festival celebrates the area's communal energy, more than it introduces it to the uninitiated. The weekend-long event features booths run by area businesses, but the real draw is the live-action soundtrack on two stages. Saturday, acts include electronics wizards Daedelus and Dark Party, pop marvels Bishop Allen and the 1900s, and Afrobeat sensations NOMO. On Sunday, add jazz virtuoso Charlie Hunter, the simmering shoegaze of Film School, and eclectic indie rock from Apollo Sunshine and the Most Serene Republic.
