While a drum-and-keyboard combo may seem small on paper, food-fighting duo Matt & Kim's giddy alt-punk is bigger than it has any right to be. Their live act has moved from its natural habitat of sweaty, jam-packed house parties to clubs and, more recently, outdoor festivals, but M&K's intimate vibe and sense of personal politics remain intact. (At last year's Siren Festival in NYC, Matt took a break to demand that the audience stop paying rent.) Tonight, they're joined by electro-punks the Death Set (an act known to literally tear down the house) for a show sponsored by VICE and fueled by free Colt 45.
