The Gene Siskel Film Center gives you the chance to do Derrida and Zizek in one night with this deconstructionist double whammy. Derrida, by Amy Ziering Kofman and Kirby Dick, is a documentary in which the French philosopher Jacques Derrida discusses everything from the obscurity of definitive truth, to violence, to love, to Rodney King. Astra Taylor's film ZIZEK!'s titular exclamation point suits Slavoj Zizek's eccentricity and challenges to established thought. The documentary chases the Slovenian philosopher from country to country, following his hectic lecture schedule.
