Aimee Mann is the Kevin Kouzmanoff of pop music. Just as the ballplayer hit a grand slam on the first pitch he saw in the major leagues, so did Mann's '80s band 'Til Tuesday, who made their mark with their very first single, "Voices Carry." She's since forged a critically acclaimed career as a singer/songwriter and film scorer. Squeeze, meanwhile, is more like Ken Griffey Jr.: Their impressive career started with a spate of big hits, and while their impact is felt less these days, Squeeze still enjoy widespread goodwill for their many contributions. Tonight, a musical doubleheader in a beautiful park; as Ernie Banks would say, let's play two.
