Nike has seemed intent on reimagining the experience of running ever since it began collaborating with Apple. The company's latest effort, the Human Race 10k, is one of the largest running events ever, with millions of people in 25 cities hitting the pavement at once for a 10-kilometer road race. Sure, it's part of the company's elaborate marketing campaign, but it's also channeled towards ambitious philanthropic ends. The real winners are the three charities you can choose to support: the UN Refugee Agency, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and the World Wildlife Fund. Plus, you get the added joy of free music downloads and a post-race concert.
