In The Harder They Come, aspiring reggae star Ivanhoe Martin moves to the city in hopes of releasing an album. He quickly learns that money speaks louder than words and turns to selling marijuana for an drug boss in lieu of chasing his dream. The Jamaican anti-hero becomes the country's most wanted man after killing a police officer and briefly becomes a hero to Jamaica's poor population. The film stars real-life reggae legend Jimmy Cliff, and its Cliff-featuring soundtrack is a stone-cold reggae classic. Always the gracious host, Delilah's features $2 Chang Beer and $2 Ancient Age Bourbon during tonight's barroom screening.
