The more ballet you see, the more you understand the importance of execution and how, like with prize-winning wines and tailored suits, every detail has to sing. This 75-year-old company — the country's first — has long carried a torch for impeccable dancing and masterful ensemble work. The pieces on this anniversary tour don't contain the edgiest choreography you'll see this season, but it's all been thoroughly vetted, and two works — Mark Morris' Joyride and Christopher Wheeldon's Within the Golden Hour — are by contemporary masters. The Chicago Sinfonietta, under the baton of SFB's Martin West, add another note of class with live music. In short, it's ballet done right.
