With the polls showing a dead heat between Barack Obama and John McCain, the presidential debates promise to be a critical juncture in this year's race to the White House. Tonight, join Sun-Times journalist Laura Washington and Chicago Public Radio political reporter Ben Calhoun for a pre-debate panel discussion. Afterwards, watch the Democratic and Republican candidates square off on the issues. The first 90-minute debate (moderated by Jim Lehrer) focuses on domestic policy, the second is the Vice Presidential debate, while the third "town meeting"-style debate (hosted by Tom Brokaw, with questions from audience and internet participants) addresses foreign policy.
