Tonight, a few well-known and controversial authors read aloud from the banned books of our youth. Two female authors who often find themselves topping the ALA's most frequently challenged book and author lists appear this evening: Judy Blume, author of Forever and Are You There, God? It's Me Margaret, and Lois Lowry (The Giver). The City Lit Theatre will also be on hand to recreate racy moments from favorite list toppers.
