You may find this show's title easy to misread, and that's by design — such ambiguity is all part of the game for the exhibition's curator, Terry R. Myers. Angles in America assembles an intriguing group of seven significant American artists — including Gordon Matta-Clark, Robert Overby, and Mary Heilmann — whose work explores the emotional and sensuous aspects of geometry. The exhibit also examines the sentiment and symbolism contained within everyday materialism.
