Don't be fooled by Jackie Hoffman's diminutive stature; her lacerating brand of comedy could melt the paint off a wall. Since her early days at Chicago's Second City e.t.c. and on the New York fringe with "The Talent Family" (David and Amy Sedaris), the brassy pixie has played Long Island yentas and jaded scenesters with vim and vinegar. Now back in town co-starring as "Grandmama" in The Addams Family's pre-Broadway warmup, she's working on her night off in this Monday showcase for her musical savagery and acidic standup. If you get out alive, you'll love it.
