The sixth annual edition of Site Unseen offers a collection of one-night-only, site-specific performances, installations, and video pieces at the Cultural Center. The interdisciplinary one-off centers around the work of local artists, each interpreting visibility issues linked to various kinds of disabilities. The Unreal-estates created elevator-centered installations, while individual artists and groups such as the Still Point Theatre Collective and artist Debra Tolchinsky help fill out the space with performance and multimedia work. Curator Julie Laffin's growing complications from chronic Lyme disease served as the inspiration for this year's theme.
