It may be nearing the quarter-century mark in age, but Ohad Naharin's Tabula Rasa is still the must-see performance in Hubbard Street's Winter Series. Naharin's hilarious, interactive Minus 16 impressed last fall, but this (some would argue) signature choreography piece is among the best examples of the Batsheva Dance Company Artistic Director's "Gaga" combination of volatile physicality and haunting tranquility — counterpointed perfectly with the darting, forlorn violin of Arvo Part. Also included: Off Screen, company member Alejandro Cerrudo's tribute/interpretation of modern film compositions; and Johan Inger's Walking Mad.
