Fucked Up have come a long way since their 7-inch-slinging origins in Toronto. Their triple-guitar attack is no less intense, but as displayed on last fall's The Chemistry of Common Life album, the cohesion and ambition of FU's songwriting make them one of the most vital things in rock now — Chemistry is looking to do for hardcore what Hüsker Dü's Zen Arcade did for punk. The outfit storms the city tonight with more fire and man-flesh this industrial 'hood has likely seen. Chicago punk quartet Chronic Seizure open.
