Created by USA Today and Film Comment critic Harlan Jacobson in 1992, this multi-city, sneak preview series features some of the best indie and foreign films of the year before they hit local art houses. The films screened are a secret until the lights go down, but in the last few years, Talk Cinema has screened Control, Juno, Persepolis, and The Life Before Her Eyes, among many other award winners waiting in our Netflix queues — so it's a good bet that this new series will predict our 2009 must-sees.
