Tech-house merchants Booka Shade went out on a limb with their recent studio album, The Sun and the Neon Light; targeting pop sensibilities, the release plays down the duo's unmatched gift for producing sophisticated big-room anthems. If its successes were modest, the group's current tour — with real live-show stuff like drums, keys, and vocals — is geared to tease out the material's excitement. Of course, the duo is DJing as well, so we'll definitely get an ample assortment of Get Physical-style movement on the dance floor.
