Don't Dress for Dinner

A classic farce as broad and French as the Seine, Don't Dress for Dinner is a manic amalgam of mistaken identity, double entendre, sexual titillation, plot twists, and over-the-top slapstick. A hapless husband sneaks his bombshell mistress into town for a romp, but when his wife cancels a weekend trip in order to see her own paramour, everyone scrambles to maintain a plausible alibi. If you can suspend your disbelief, you'll enjoy the zany antics and split-second timing from an expert cast. The late playwright Marc Camoletti also penned the recent Broadway hit Boeing-Boeing; word is this show is headed there as well, so catch it locally while you can.
