Five years in the making, the debut album from N.A.S.A., The Spirit of Apollo, features more than three-dozen guest stars representing multiple musical forms. With up to five performers collaborating on each genre-skirting track, it's one of the most ambitious records of the moment. This A-list party is the ultimate mashup, featuring the unexpected teamings of everyone from David Byrne and Chuck D to Tom Waits and Kool Keith. The project, a collaboration between US DJ/producer Squeak E. Clean and Brazilian counterpart DJ Zegon, leaves the studio this evening as its makers drop their unassailable mashups at the Abbey.
