Author, activist, entrepreneur, and Nobel Prize and Academy Award winner Al Gore, the popularly elected 42nd President of the United States — er, former Vice President — takes to the stage at the Chicago Theater to discuss his passion: raising awareness about the climate crisis. But don't anticipate a rehash of his famous Global Warming 101 slide show that inspired An Inconvenient Truth; Gore just announced that his next book, Our Choice (out November 3) will present a "comprehensive global plan" to address the problem, drawing upon more than 30 Solutions Summits he has held in recent years with leading experts.
