As one-quarter of illustrious dance-hop crew Glitch Mob, Edward Ma (aka edIT) has sweat-drenched nearly as many laptops and turntables as he has dance floors. As with his LA compatriots, edIT solo is the definition of open-eared, po-mo party-starting: Frazzled Autechre IDM is mixed seamlessly into DJ Krush downbeat, with Kanye-style electro-futurism bleeping over Southern bounce. Like Girl Talk's, edIT's mash-up dexterity is breathtaking — but he'll always let the groove ride, more intent on nodding heads than turning them. If you dance as hard as he mixes, maybe he'll toss in some of his early jungle triumphs, too.
