Efterklang are a quirky indie band from Denmark whose sound has steadily morphed from quiet electronica to lush chamber pop. This mutation is best exemplified by the group's impressive shows, which eschew laptop fiddling for live strings, horns, and a chorus of vocalists. In contrast, opening act Peter Broderick — a fellow Dane — offers up hushed acoustic gems that feature careful guitar picking, ghostly piano lines, and the occasional electronic blip.
