New Yorker illustrators and Drawn & Quarterly all-stars Adrian Tomine (Optic Nerve) and Seth (Palooka-ville) take questions and sign books at Chicago's favorite "qveer" store. Usually, there would be a reading, but that would be pretty silly with cartoons; beside, the pair's stories of lonely characters meandering through gauntlets of crushing pathos are best read alone. Tomine is celebrating new editions of Shortcomings and 32 Stories, while Seth unveils a graphic novel called George Sprott 1894-1975.
