Horror-film marathons are normally an October thing, but note that one of the genre's most successful franchises started with summer camp. So, after a romp at the beach with the dogs and a stop for ice cream, why not spend an air-conditioned evening watching limbs severed every which way, brutal eye gouges, and blood-spattering showers? This fest is heavy on the slashers, with the Robert Morgan short Monsters, woods vacationer Blood Shed, online-date-gone-wrong Consumption, a retro-styled Frat House Massacre, the premiere of Serial: Amoral Uprising (followed by Q&A session), and the Japanese bloodbath satire Tokyo Gore Police.
