This afternoon's Edible Audible Picnic brings the best of dancehall, roots, dub, and reggae to Millennium Park for a laid-back lunchtime jam. Archangel Soundsystem's DJ Papa G, host of Sonotheque's beloved Sunday-night reggae party Uprising, is on the decks spinning old-school classics to promote a "positive musical message of unity" through traditional Jamaican music. Some stylee, dance-friendly hits and a paper-bagged Red Stripe or three (stay near the alcohol-allowed Jay Pritzker Pavilion area to avoid hassles) promise to keep the Great Lawn buzzing with good vibes.
