Great Lawn says…

The Great Lawn overlooks Fake Shore Drive today, as the Edible Audible Picnic spotlights some of the best acts in underground Chicago hip-hop. Veteran scene-bearers like All Natural and Pugs Atomz (ex-Nacrobats) have upheld the Windy City's renowned indie-rap ethos for over a decade. They share the bandshell with relative newcomers such as Primeridian, whose recent high-profile "Buck Town" single (feat. Naledge from Kidz in the Hall) is a textbook model for roots-repping crossover. Other highlights include the silver-tongued AquaMoon, Ang13, and b-boy acrobatics courtesy of the Stick & Move Dance Crew.
