British funnyman and Comedy Central fixture John Oliver appears tonight at the Lakeshore Theatre in a set of back-to-back standup shows. Although you're most likely to recognize him as The Daily Show's Senior British Correspondent, the "fake news" reporter also writes for the show, co-hosts the weekly Bugle podcast for London's Times Online, and has appeared on the big screen. Sure, it was the regrettable Love Guru, but his ace training shines through that one teensy hiccup. Oliver developed his craft with the Footlights, one of the most legendary springboards for UK comedic talent.
