The Chicago Outdoor Film Festival continues tonight with a screening of the 1950 classic Born Yesterday. The Pygmalion tale follows millionaire Harry Brock (Broderick Crawford), who hires a journalist (William Holden) to make his ex-showgirl mistress presentable for Washington, D.C. society. Much like My Fair Lady, the story begins with diction lessons and becomes an education in picking the right man. Judy Holliday earned an Academy Award for her role as the surprisingly intelligent Billie Dawn.
