For the 30th anniversary of Taste of Polonia, the Copernicus Center fills its halls with traditional Polish sounds and an abundance of kielbasa, latkes and Polish piwo — plus cooking demos to teach you how to whip up the tasty recipes for yourself. The much-loved Labor Day weekend fest also serves up a wide array of musical styles, including Monday's '60s tribute, several polkas, and performances by nearly a dozen DJs and bands — covering everything from jazz and classic rock to pop and hip hop. Your entrance donation goes right back to the Copernicus Foundation, funding its mission to enrich Polish-American culture in metropolitan Chicago.
