This event takes place in the Pick-Staiger Rehearsal Room. Please use the Ticket Office entrance at the southeast end of the concert hall.
This is a wonderful and FREE opportunity to watch the Dorian Wind Quintet, long considered a titan among ensembles since forming in 1961, coach the talented young students from Northwestern's Bienen School of Music. These five polished players were reviewed by the Charleston Daily Mail when they celebrated the quintet's 40th anniversary with a commission that was handled "empirically, mysteriously, mischevously and humorously, yet never lost the thread of the known."
