In the aptly titled band Vacations, Jeremy Bolen (Chin Up Chin Up) and Bobby Burg (Joan of Arc, Make Believe) create minimalist pop for those who sip Piña Coladas on tropical islands. You know, ones who write postcards back home saying, "How's the Chicago weather? Maniacal laughter." Bolen is a photographer, and everyman Burg has a King Midas creative touch. Vacations recently went on vacation tour; and the road offers ample downtime to amble around foreign areas — and perhaps photograph them. This exhibition has the promise of being the most arty vacation slide-show ever.
