From the creative team that brought you Second City's 2009 hit Rod Blagojevich Superstar! comes this loving homage to a bloated, bloviating blowhard. Limbaugh! rounds up a Mount Rushmore of easy targets for the firing line (Anne Coulter, Karl Rove, Donald Rumsfeld), but in bipartisan fairness, Barney Frank and Hillary Clinton also take their knocks. Writers T.J. Shanoff and Ed Furman shoot the biggest fishes in the barrel, yet their aim is true: expect more of the witty lyrics and political barbs that made the Blago show a riotous romp. The music is a bouncy pastiche of recent Broadway musicals but the spirit is all Pipers Alley.
