It's a time-honored tradition that Chicago's best young standup comedians leave our shores to move up the industry ladder in coastal cities: Hannibal Buress decamped for New York and landed a Saturday Night Live writing gig, Kumail Nanjiani now writes for Michael and Michael Have Issues, and Robert Buscemi is tearing it up in Los Angeles. The next guy who figures to ship out is Prescott Tolk, a clever joke writer and popular veteran of Chicago comedy stages.
