A cool free event in a new series celebrating the ideas and themes in our shows:

EXPLORE: The World of The Brother/Sister Plays
In Steppenwolf Theatre's Yondorf Rehearsal Hall
758 W. North Ave, 2nd Floor (corner of North & Halsted)

Watch Chicago's Muntu Dance Theatre in a live performance of one of their celebrated interpretations of African dance. Listen to a DJ and vocal set of original, Pan-African inspired club-friendly rhythms from recording artist Santero, host of the Bay Area's popular Latin music showcase VOODOO - and take a peek at cool contemporary Yoruban art and poetry. Dig into complimentary Afro-Caribbean appetizers and free drinks - including samples of new Sprite Green!

This event is FREE, but you must RSVP to Steppenwolf Audience Services at 312-335-1650.

To round out your experience, we invite you to enjoy the entire story of The Brother/Sister Plays on Saturday, February 27.

The three plays are presented in repertory with In the Red and Brown Water at 3pm and The Brothers Size and Marcus; Or the Secret of Sweet at 7:30pm. This EXPLORE event is your chance to catch one or both shows, relax in between and eat, drink and dig deeper into these incredible stories.
