Not to be confused with the John Van Druten Isherwood-inspired, Cabaret-inspiring play from which it takes its name, the second show of the Neo-Futurists' '09-10 season takes its title more literally. NF founder Greg Allen projects hundreds of photographs onto large screens and against the two actors, Caitlin Stainken (Assistant Director of BEER) and Jeremy Sher (Strange Interlude), and toys with Polaroid snapshots, slideshows, and, of course, audience participation in this identity-transfixed performance. Less hyperactive than the Neos' signature blitzes, Camera still boasts that trademark conceptual playfulness that makes them eternal crowd-pleasers.
