Genesis P-Orridge and his cohorts were infamously dubbed "wreckers of civilization" following COUM Transmissions' legendary Prostitution exhibit in 1976 — tough press to top for any transgressive artist. But he's carried on that spirit of intelligent provocation for over 30 years, through Throbbing Gristle's proto-industrial, Psychic TV's acid-house mysticism, and his own extreme, gender-blurring body modification.
