Indigo Moor’s second collection, Through the Stonecutter’s Window, is the inaugural winner of the Cave Canem–Northwestern University Press Poetry Prize (2009). His first book of poetry, Tap-Root, was published in 2006 as part of the Main Street Rags Editors Select Poetry Series. Roger Bonair-Agard, a native of Trinidad and Tobago, is a Cave Canem fellow and the co-founder and artistic director of the LouderARTS Project. His most recent collection of poetry is GULLY (Cypher Books/Peepal Tree Press, 2010). Kelly Norman Ellis is an associate professor of English at Chicago State University. A recipient of a Kentucky Foundation for Women writer’s grant, she is a Cave Canem fellow and a founding member of the Affrilachian Poets. This event is co-sponsored with Cave Canem and Northwestern University Press.
