John Corigliano is celebrated for his compositions in over 100 chamber, vocal, choral, and orchestral works. His style has been called "unique and unmistakable," combining harmonic complexity with a melody of daring simplicity. Corigliano will speak about his music as part of a concert that includes his dramatic cantata Fanfares to Music and other pieces. The Northwestern University Brass Ensemble featuring Stephen Alltop and Gail Williams will perform his works.
