“Chicago Shakespeare's World's Stage shows are routinely among the company's most exciting works, and Itsoseng is no exception. Omphile Molusi's one-man show, directed by Tina Johnson, is a deeply affecting but also surprisingly funny story of life in the forgotten South African township where he was raised. Molusi has received plenty of critical acclaim (and was awarded at the 2008 Edinburgh fringe festival) for his performance, portraying a community of characters and balancing tragedy and comedy in post-apartheid South Africa.”
