“The School of the Art Institute of Chicago has long been known for its strong programs in painting, drawing, and sculpture, but over the past few years they have also been building up a very interesting performance-art program with students and graduates working with one of Chicago's performance galleries, Defibrillator. Crossing traditional boundaries between artistic disciplines to create new hybridized forms, over 20 graduate and undergraduate students present their unique visions. One doesn't quite know what to expect, which is a part of the attraction of the event.”
