“Maxwell Colette Gallery and Pawn Works team up to bring the internationally acclaimed street artist Gaia to Chicago this month. Gaia, who is known for his monumental representations of animal-human hybrids in work that critiques and activates the urban pastoral, will have an exhibition of new work at the Maxwell Colette Gallery, a site-specific installation at Pawn Works, a 50-foot-long window installation in the loop, and additional site-specific street work in various parts of the city. The artist is present at the opening reception for the show held at at Maxwell Colette Gallery on Friday, March 25th from 6 - 9 pm.”
