The Moth is best known for its Peabody Award-winning radio show, its Mainstage events featuring celebrities sharing true tales, and its lively storytelling slams in neighborhood bars, but its worthy educational mission should not be overlooked. The New York City-based nonprofit works with public school children across the country, helping them write and refine the personal stories they present live onstage before appreciative audiences. Tonight is just such an evening, with teenage Chicago Public School students at the mic. Admission is free, but advance RSVP is required.
